An invaluable plant for the shadier areas of the garden. This evergreen perennial has interest in both leaves and flowers. Leaves are around 25 cms long, bristly and a rich apple green in colour with no silver or cream markings at all (as with many other pulmonarias). These are borne on short stems which produce the flowering stems in spring. Flowers are possibley the best blue shade of any of the pulmonarias and held in clusters against the foliage which makes a good combination.
