An attractive plant in both foliage and flower. Growth begins in early spring with the arrival of the pale green matte leaves. These punch through the soil wrapped around the flower affording protection until above the soil surface. They expand like an umbrella to reveal the deep indentations and a slightly hairy texture until mature. Height is around 16 inches including the white flower which is usually held below the leaves. Spreads by means of stolons in a moderately fertile soil. Easy.
