A hard working deciduous perennial from S Europe and Siberia with sage-green deeply veined ovate leaves at around 2 cms long. The edges are scaloped but only slightly so and each is held on a semi-prostrate wiry stem. Flowers are the typical nettle-like affair - variable in colour normally but these plants offered here are from cuttings taken from pale blue and white flowered plants. These are produced in dense panicles which last for several weeks each.
