A neat and tidy herbaceous little alpine plant. Deep green glossy leaves emerge in early spring, forming a rosette. From these rosettes rise wiry stems carrying single cup-shaped crisp-white flowers. These are borne in numbers lasting for several weeks. One of the best in the genus.
