A fabulous Chilean plant which is more or less a low growing shrub which grows to around 30 cms high or so. The foliage is deepest green but can have a slightly pinkish cast when young. This is held on rigid stems which grow from the soil in a very erect habit but tend to arch over in time. Flowers are very thick and waxy textured, being tubular with a flared mouth. A very attractive shade of pink like a Lapageria.
