A lovely species from Western China with foliage consisting of several rich-green pointed leaflets and all held on a rigid stem which can reach around 60 cms in height. Flowers are mid to rich pink with conspicuous yellow stamens and last for several weeks. Attractive bluish seeds follow which are held in a bright crimson-red receptacle on opening.
