Formerly Helichrysum, now placed into Ozothamnus along with the two parent species. Generally believed to be the result of a cross between O. depressum and microphyllum which arose at County Park Nursery. Year round silver grey foliage is completely untouched by the weather and is almost mat-forming. The tiny leaves overlap and are extremely small, the stems looking almost leafless. Flowers tend to be insignificant but the mat of foliage which can reach over 45 cms wide, make an ideal foil for the other plants in the rock garden.
