The leaves are the first to emerge in mid spring, these aregenerally trifoliate and a pale green in colour with a slight silver inlay. The flowers are borne after the first leaves have opened, these are a nice pale pink in colour. A good easy garden plant which will reward in early spring with fresh green foliage and flowers a little later.

This differs from the species in that the flowers are much larger and it appears to flower more freely. Bob Haszeldine was a professor of chemistry and a very good friend and customer of Edrom Nursery.
