Bright green foliage is evergreen in all but the hardest of winters. Each leaf is around 10 cms long with prominent veining. Flowers are small but numerous and star shaped, borne in early spring just above the new foliage. Colour is a bright vibrant blue which looks well against the apple-green foliage. Makes solid clumps with a few trailing stems around the perimeter.
