A smaller species which is suitable for the rock garden or even in troughs and containers as well as naturalising in grass etc. Two or three rich green leaves rise to around 15cms high in late winter and early spring. The flowers are typical daffodil shape but slightly longer being a rich lemon yellow in colour.
