A very showy herbaceous perennial for the damper areas of the garden in sun or light shade. Growing from rhizomes, it will slowly spread or self seed if allowed if the soil is moist enough. It can reach up to 80 cms or so but we find it a little shorter up here in the frozen north! Fresh green foliage on bright green stem with orange-red tubular flowers borne on the upper leaf axils. Very showy when in full flower.
