Sturdy stems carry whorls of broad mid-green leaves to a height of 90 cms or so. These hybrids are equally at home in full sun or in light shade, the plant will grow taller in shadier conditions. The flowers on this species ar strongly turkscap and are borne in large numbers on established plants. Colour is a a little variable but generally palest orange with a hint of pink to the centre of each petal. Buds are pink before opening adding to the interest.
