A lovely selection of the species which is newly offered for sale. Growth starts in early spring and the plant can be in flower as early as late May although late June, July and August is more usual here in the UK. Canary-yellow erect leaves and pale violet-purple flowers as in the species. Leaves emit a meaty smell when crushed!
