A long established alpine plant for troughs or raised beds where its proportions will not dominate. Deepest green finely dissected glossy leaves make evergreen hummocks of growth to around 7 cms high but slowly spreading. Flowers are white and small but quite numerous, scented and held on short stems which lift just above the foliage. Best not on acid soils.
