Possibly one of the most sought after of the genus with pink and white flowers regularly over several centimetres wide. Flowers are made up of broad pinkish petals, a good pale to mid pink around the edges and white to the centre. Foliage is tri-lobed and mid green in colour, dying away for the colder winter months. The flowers tend to rise in early spring before the foliage. A hybrid of Hepatica japonica Tenjinbai and Hepatica transsilvanica.
