A larger species of Globularia from the Alps down to N Spain. The plant makes a low mat of growth to 10 cms high with the flower stems. Leaves are larger than the others on this site at up to 10 cms long or so comprised of around 50% leaf petiole. each is deep green and completely evergreen. Flowers are as the other species here - violet-blue in fluffy heads with numerous heads per plant. Easy to grow in a sunny spot.
