This is a miniature version of the species and identical in every way except it's size at only half or less in height and significantly less in width. Low growing evergreen perennial with glossy spoon-shaped leaves held on thin stems to a height of around 2 cms high. The plant tends to make hummocks of growth before spreading outwards, making dense mats. Flowers are borne on short stems and are solitary although many are produced. Each is a blue colour and quite fluffy, lasting for around 10 days each.
