Foliage is deep green on compact trailing stems radiating from a central point when young. They produce many offsets and root from trailing stems which is a good means of propagation by simply lifting and replanting as they form. The flowers are trumpet shaped with a wide open mouth usually to well over 3 cms wide, colour is a good rich-blue with a purplish cast and white lines down the outside make this one distinctive. We would recommend a position in full sun with plenty of moisture and acid soil for these plants to thrive.
