Galanthus nivalis Lady Elphinstone

This is a variation on the common snowdrop. Narrow glaucous foliage appears in late winter just before the pendulous white flowers. These are quite different from the species in that they are fully double and all of the parts which usually have a green colour are coloured yellow.

 Can grow green in the first year of transplanting but revert back to the proper yellow the following year.
