This species as yet unnamed species is evergreen in all but the most severe of winters when it may lose its foliage. Leaves are large sized and pointed with fine teeth to the edge, emerging bronzey-orange. Flowers are borne in long racemes, are a clear yellow in colour, and hang pendulously from upright stems.
