A super Dianthus for the rock garden or trough with slender grey-green foliage being linear and borne on stems in an opposite formation up the very short stem. Flowers are held on short stems and reach up to 1 cms high or so higher than the foliage. Colour is pale pink. Flowers are slightly smaller than usual but are much greater in number.
This is very similar to Dianthus arpadianus but it produces a shorter flower stem, is stronger pink in colour and makes tighter mounds.
