Easy to grow monocotyledonous plants which originated from Tasmania. This is a species from which others have been raised. Growth reaches around 45cms or so on this - our largest Dianella, with the flower stems to a height of maybe 60cms. Each has swept back violet-blue petals and bright golden-yellow stamens giving a good contrast. Very easy to grow and will tolerate a dry situation once established.
