A species which has little variation in the flower colour. Foliage is blue-green in colour and deeply cut, height is around 10 cms high. Flowers are the main attraction, being densely clustered up the stem reaching around 10cms or occasionally up to 20 cms high. These are tubular and tend to have a small amount of deep purple in them, the main colour being lilac/lavender.
