A long lived little rock perennial from may countries in the Northern Hemisphere. Evergreen leaves for hummocks of growth and are very narrow like semi-rigid blades of grass but around 1 cms long, purplish in colour. Flowers are rich cerise pink and held atop stems to around 3 cms high in clusters.
