A really attractive delicate looking fern from Eastern North America. Completely deciduous in nature, this fern begins growth in early spring when the wiry black stems unfurl from the ground holding the fronds. These are a rich pure green and held horizontal at the top of each stem. There may be up to eight segments to the leaf which are then sub-divided into numerous leaflets. Delicate but very tolerant.
