The bud colour dictates the flower colour - white buds opening pure white and purplish buds opening pale blue-purple. The flowers open to reveal the relevant colour, each is wide open-mouthed and the scent is intoxicating! A real gem in the genus. Seed raised and therefore mixed blues and whites in the batch until they flower. Can't praise this species enough.
