What to do with your plants |
|
For customers perhaps receiving plants for the first time via mail order, we would recommend the following aftercare. Open the parcel immediately. Remove all of the plants, carefully checking the labels to ensure no mixing where more than one variety has been sent. We recommend that the plants are planted immediately. However, if you feel that the conditions in your locale to inclement then we recommend that you water the plants and stand them in a cold glasshouse or sheltered place out of doors. If the parcel has been held for a few days in a sorting office the plants will respire and look etiolated. For best results please keep the unpacked plants in a light, frost-free environment to acclimate. This may take two of three weeks. |
