A dwarf Chinese species of the very popular 'Globe Flower'. The foliage is deepest green and deeply dissected being glossy, borne on leaf petioles which lift the leaf clear of the ground and all radiate from a central crown. Flowers are as large as a typical buttercup and strong golden yellow in colour and upwards pointing. Will tolerate full sun if the soil remains moist and a reasonable degree of fertility helps. A little taller than T. ranunculoides we find.
