Product Details
A plant which was collected in 1994 in the Sierra Chiquita mountains, Mexico at an altitude of 3400m. It is completely hardy but will die back completely to the ground in hard winters.
Foliage is a lot of the attraction, being silvery-green with obvious purple spotting on the upper surface. This is hels on purplish wiry stems and these will trail over rocks or logs etc, even walls if allowed to.
The flowers are pale lavender-purple, typical of Tradescantiaceae, three petalled and without a scent. These are produced freely throught the summer months and well into autumn until the frosts get the top growth.
