A robust species (named species) of evergreen perennial with glossy spoon-shaped leaves held on thin stems to a height of around 4 cms high. The plant tends to make tidy hummocks of rich gren growth that are completely unnaffected by intense weather. Flowers are borne on short stems and are solitary although many are produced. Each is a blue colour and quite fluffy, lasting for around 10 days each. Ideal for troughs etc where it's proportions won't cause any harm to other plants.
