Product Details
These are choice woodland perennials which are grown for their foliage effect as well as the small flowers and blue fruits. Foliage rises in mid spring, completely folded up, it slowly unwraps to form a canopy of leaves which can be up to 30 cms wide and have two lobes each. These have several points to each lobe and the leaf petiole joins in the centre of the leaf, a brownish marking is also present on the upper surface, fading with time. Flowering shoots have two leaves only and these are held on rigid stems to 3 feet or so. flowers are numerous, white and borne in an umbrella-like cyme, these are followed by berries which turn blue.
