A hybrid resulting from a cross between calceolus and pubescens. Large broadly lanceolate leaves are pale green and slightly pleated, fine hairs are also present. They ca reach up to 60 cms high we are told but have not witnessed this ourselves. Flowers are golden-yellow, occasionally yellowish in the lower lip or pouch. The upper petals are wine-red and green with a hint of brown. a moist but well drained soil in light shade will do fine for this ground orchid. Best not to use peat or similar products when planting.
