Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I save my 'Basket' or 'Cart'?This is available to registered customers only. Place the plants into your Cart as normal. When you have them all in click on 'View Basket' at the top of the page. Confirm your address by clicking on the 'continue' button. That's it, your basket is saved until you login the next time you're on our website. Retrieve it by clicking on 'Saved Shopping Carts'. How do I place an order through the web site?Simply click the link at the bottom of each plant which says "add to basket". After adding each plant click on the "view" link at the top right of each page. Review your full order and then click on the "checkout" link and follow the instructions on screen. How do I make an enquiry about a plant or plants?Simply click on the "Contact Us" link above or to the left and use the enquiry form there. You may ask your question there. How do I ask you to bring plants to a flower show for me?Make your order in the usual way but send it to us as an enquiry. This link can be found in the "Contact Us" link. Is your website fully secure?We do not see or process your credit card details ourselves, your order is processed by us but your payment is automatically handled by specialised credit companies called PayPal or Google Checkout Your credit card details are fully secure. Telephone orders require card details which will be used but not stored at any time. How do I add plants to an order after I have submitted the order?Simply send an email to help@edromnurseries.co.uk including your telephone number and we will contact you. Do you de-pot your plants before posting?Most of our plants will be dispatched in their pots with a very few exceptions. These currently are Arisaema, Lilium, Roscoea and Nomocharis, plus one or two others. These are best sent as bare tubers or rhizomes which establish much better when planted. What is your minimum order value?You may order as little as one plant if you wish. The web site will automatically charge our flat delivery rate but we will refund part of this postage charge if necessary. I'm an overseas customer how will I receive my plants?We will, by default de-pot your plants to reduce weight. This greatly reduces postage costs. We can leave pots and compost on but this is very expensive. Please email us first if you really prefer this method.
As a European customer, what will I pay in shipping charges?
The website will charge an absolute maximum of £35 but we will make a refund to your card for any excess postage which we don't require to get the plants to you.
Which postal service will you use to get plants to a European destination?
We use either Royal Mail Airsure or International signed for depending on the destination. These typically takes around 3 to 5 days.
