Creamy variegated lanceolate leaves
Convallaria keiskei Shiro Shima Fu
Product Details
A larger form of the very well known Lily-of-the-valley. Deep green lance shaped foliage has irregular creamy-white stripes running longitudinally from top to bottom and emerges in late spring with two leaves per growth rising to 15 cms high or thereabouts. Quite similar in appearance to C.m.Hardwick Hall but the variegation is generally slightly more evident and erratic. In the centre of these are borne the flower stems which carry numerous flowers. These are bell-like and hang vertically from the main stem. The colour is a creamy white as normal but they are larger than the species.
